Special Message from Jim Estepp, Chairman
National
Board on Fire Service Professional Qualifications To
Pro-Board Accredited Agencies At
its recent Annual Board meeting, the Board of Directors voted to reduce
the $7.50 fee to $6.50 for those Agencies that electronically process all
of their certificates for Pro-Board certification into the National
Registry. The new reduced rate will be effective July 1, 2005.
The $10.00 and $15.00 fee plans which require individual processing
are not affected by this decision. In
making this decision, the Board is recognizing the reduced cost of
electronic processing it has experienced recently.
“Returning cost savings to those agencies which have helped
streamline Pro-Board processing and which provide Pro-Board certificates
to all of their Agency’s personnel makes good sense” commented
Chairman Estepp.... “The Pro-Board continues to look for ways to
streamline its processing while maintaining the programs and service
expectations of our 40 Accredited Agencies”. As
in the past, individuals from the $6.50 fee agencies wanting a
personalized Pro-Board certificate can always obtain one at $15.00 each. Thank
you for your participation and interest in keeping our first responders
