After a long and distinguished service to the Committee on Accreditation as an Advisory Committee Representative, Tim Dunkle from Pennsylvania tendered his resignation from that position in December. An email ballot election was held to finish his unexpired term. Six individuals were nominated by the membership. Alan Joos from Utah was elected by the membership to finish the term. At the next Advisory Committee meeting (tentatively scheduled for November) an election will be conducted to fill a new three year for that position.

On behalf of the Advisory Committee I'd like to extend congratulations and welcome to Alan and to thank Tim publicly for his service and efforts on behalf of the Accredited entities and to wish him the best in his future endeavors.

In preparation for the Fall meeting, I'll be happy to take suggestions from the membership for agenda items. As has been tradition, our meeting will be held in conjunction with the Bi-Annual Pro Board Conference.

By virtue of my position as an ex-officio member of the Pro Board's Board of Directors, I am now your representative to the NFPA's Technical Correlating Committee. A meeting of that Committee is scheduled for the Spring. I will

report back to the membership of any items of interest in an upcoming Newsletter.
